Happy birthday to my better half!
To celebrate the occasion of his birth, 29 years ago, I'm spending the latter part of my morning baking a cherry cheesecake. It is in the oven right now and, let me tell you, the batter alone tastes soooooo good. I used this recipe, Aunt Connie's Amazing New York Style Cheesecake. According to the author, it is fool-proof. Given that this is my first cheesecake ever, I'm banking on it.
