spring has sprung photo contest

I haven't offered a contest or a giveaway here in quite some time and I am so excited to bring you this one!

 

The weather is warm and the flowers are blooming.  There are so many great opportunities to take pictures of your kids right now, so slap on those shoes, grab your camera and head outside!   (shoes optional)

The Prize:

One lucky reader will win a custom crayon roll from Domestic Engineer Gone Crafty.  The winner will choose the fabrics and the crayon roll will be shipped directly to him/her.  What's a crayon roll?  I'm glad you asked!  It is like a sleeping bag for your kids' crayons.  No more ripped boxes, hard plastic cases, or messy plastic baggies flopping around in your diaper bag or purse.  Hillary, the Domestic Engineer herself, is a sew-at-home-mommy to two beautiful girls.  She and I have teamed up to offer the winner a fabulous handmade prize, valued at $12.50, plus free shipping.  View more of her products here.

How to Enter:

Submit one photo of your children in all their spring-like glory by emailing them to One Creative Housewife, tattietats [at] gmail [dot] com.  Include your child's initials for identification. 

Entries must be received no later than 11:59 PM on May 3.  

On May 4, I will upload all the submitted photos to the One Creative Housewife Facebook page.  Your friends, family, fans, and followers will have until 11:59 PM on May 14 to vote for their favorites.  That's 10 whole days!  Only "likes" will count, not comments though comments are welcome, too.

The winner will be contacted through email and announced here and on Facebook on May 15, and Hillary will be in touch concerning the prize.  

Rules: 

• Amateurs only, no professional portraits allowed. 
• No purchase necessary.
  
• Only one entry per person, please.
• Photos must have been taken within the last year.
• Photos must feature your own child or family member.
• By submitting your photo to tattietats [at] gmail [dot] com, you are giving One Creative Housewife permission to post your photo on facebook and at http://tattietats.com (One Creative Housewife).
• Voting (in the form of "likes") will end promptly at 11:59 on May 3.  No votes will be accepted after that time.  If an alternate winner must be chosen, the prize will be awarded based on this final count of votes. 
• Voters must first become fans of One Creative Housewife before they are able to "like" a picture.
• The winner will be contacted via email.  If the winner does not respond via email within 48 hours to claim their prize, an alternate winner will be chosen based on the final vote count.
• Play nicely!  Please do not leave negative comments on other photos or slander other contestants.
