One Creative Housewife is an eclectic look at the adventures of a spunky, spontaneous gal. Here, you will find a myriad of musings, tales, recipes, random thoughts, and quotes of the day, all taken from snapshots of the adventures of one creative housewife.So, who is this little wifey? Well, I'm a twenty-something mom who is quickly nearing thirty. I have two children, Alex and Katie, two doggies, and one husband. Yes, just one. I live in a small city in the mountains of Virginia, where I like to hike, camp, shop, cook, read, and play. I also occasionally travel to other places to do the same sorts of things.
And, where does the creative part come in? I guess you could say that I have always been crafty. As a child, I would spend entire days working on some project or another. I continue to hone my skills and embrace my mishaps through a love of sewing, cooking, homemaking, and strange, yet nifty, creativity. And, I have an etsy shop.
You could say that I started this blog as a "business blog," and that's partially true. I do have a business. I do work from home. And, I do plan to promote my business using my blog, but really only a little. I don't think I could only write a blog about my business because my life is so much more than that. I view blogging as a way to express myself and I am so much more complicated than my business. Here, you will find tutorials, artist reviews, product updates, and giveaways, of course. But, you will also find snapshots of my life, little stories, and timely tidbits. I wear a lot of hats in my day to day life, and I plan to share a little bit of them all.
