spring portraits
Just now, I blogged about how I was sad that I had missed out on my last chance to buy public school portraits. It is kind of a silly thing to be sad about, because the portraits that Lifetouch takes are always crappy anyway.
However, even with the non-DSLR plain-jane digital camera that I have, I can take some pretty good pictures of my kids. I've decided that, as part of our new traditions, we will have a spring and fall portrait day scheduled on the calendar each year, in addition to our usual professional portraits at Christmas time.
Great idea for home-schoolers. I would worry about missing those annual photos too. Although, my son rarely remember to bring the order forms home, so there are several years that I have no school pictures.
